As the DVD specifications state: "AUDIO_TS directory: empty or not present on DVD-Video discs; contains files only on DVD Audio discs; a.k.a. Audio Title Sets directory; included on DVD-Video discs for compatibility reasons". That’s true, the AUDIO_TS is not needed for video.
